Sander Welo (b.2003, he/him) is currently in his first year of a bachelor in Fine Arts at Trondheim Academy of Fine Art.
His practice consists of conceptual works that span across different mediums.
Using minimalistic aesthetics the aim is to give apparently simple works more layers of meaning and ways of interpretation.
Reoccurring themes are structures and western society, often with references to for example modern art history or pop-culture.

"The video-work in the first room is a project where I invited people to do something in front of a camera, with ten seconds of their action being slotted into a longer video. The recording of the work took place over four days. The first minute of the video is a conversation between me and the first participant, giving a sneak-peek into the filming process. All the participants’ names are written below whilst their clip is showing to highlight their contribution to the project."- Exhibition text from Framework For Participation
